"Rotring Newton" Fountain Pen-Matt Black-Hexagonal-18K M Nib-Made in Germany. Back in 1928 the "Tintenkuli Handels GmbH" introduced the first "Tintenkuli" or "Tiku", a needle point fountain pen which became famous all over the world. In the 1970s the firm's name changed into "Rotring". The name Rotring refers to the red ring (rot Ring) which can be found in the older series such as Tintenkuli, Rapidograph and Isograph and can still be found in the newer versions.
The company was taken over by Sanford in the 1990s. Nib imprint: Rotring 18K 750 M.
Size capped: approximately 5.3. Technical condition: the cartridge-filling mechanism is in working order. Optical condition: shows traces of shelf wear.
Comes in box without papers and with a Diamine "Deep Dark Blue" ink sample. Also included: a new old stock, unbranded converter and an ink cartridge.
