Fountain pen from my personal collection: Jean-Pierre Lepine Metal Fountain Pen with a Diplomat Medium (M) Nib and Gold Trim. I bought this pen at the Los Angeles Pen Show a number of years ago and I don't know much about it. Designer Jean-Pierre Lepine is from the fifth generation of manufacturers of luxury writing instruments with his workshop in the French Upper Jura, a region close to Switzerland where tradition, quality and innovation are intertwined. Lepine takes great pride in the design and craftsmanship of his fine writing instruments, which spark the imagination with their bold designs and please the hand with their high-quality materials. Lepine's pens inspire and amaze everyone who comes into contact with them!

These unconventional high-end pens have a surprising combination of colors, shapes and technical ability. All Lepine pens are completely handcrafted in small batches by expert craftsmen following age-old traditional techniques using materials like acrylic, rhodoid, brass, aluminum, delrin, stainless steel, carbon and leather, precious metals like silver and gold, exotic woods and precious stones.

These modern works of art combine functionality with aesthetics and are a true delight to hold... You might never find another bespoke luxury writing instrument like the one you'll find from Jean-Pierre Lepine. The fountain pen measures 6" when capped and 6 ½" when posted. The pen has a heavy, cool feel in your hand, which is why I believe it is metal vs. It is also heavy, much too heavy to be made of resin or celluloid. The fountain pen accepts international sized ink cartridges and includes an ink converter. The fountain pen cap ring is engraved "Jean Pierre Lepine Paris". The pen is in EXCELLENT Condition showing no scratches, gouges, dings or dents.

A black protective sleeve comes with pen, however, it does not have the original Jean-Pierre Lepine packaging material for the pen. Please see all photos as they are considered part of the description of this listing.
