Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this glorious Sailor 1911 Large Black Gold Trim Naginata Togi Fountain Pen, which comes with its Sailor presentation box, unused polishing cloth and paperwork. The pen has been very lightly.

Used and is presented in wonderful overall condition. The 1911 requires no introduction and is a legendary Sailor model - this is the extremely rare Naginata Togi special nib version. These nibs form part of the famous special nib offering from Sailor... If you're not familiar you should take a look as the whole collection is incredible.

Anyway, the 21k Naginata Togi (medium) is created by master nib-designer Nobuyoshi Nagahara - it features a larger tip, shaped like a Japanese sword, which not only creates an extremely smooth writing experience, but also allows for Kanji style writing... This is when the pen is used in an upright position. By holding it at an angle, a wider line width can be created. The pen is a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds.
