For your consideration, we are offering for sale this 2001 Parker International Special Edition Duofold Fountain Pen in the Black Mosaic pattern fitted with an 18K Medium Nib. This fountain pen has never been inked and I consider it to be in Mint, New Old Stock condition. The barrel and cap are gorgeous with beautiful color, perfectly platinum-plated cap clip and banding.

There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs. The threads on the cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. This Parker Duofold has a date code stamped on the butt-end side of the barrel with, U. For 2001 in the 4th Quarter date code. The area is stamped with Parker and Made in U. This Parker Duofold is an International Size that measures 5 1/8" inches in length capped and 6 1/2" posted. The Parker Duofold 18K Solid Gold Nib is Platinum Plated and is marked "M" on the back of the feed for a medium line/stroke. 82mm when using a digital caliper. I have not inked the fountain pen and wanted to keep it that way for the new collector. This Duofold will use Parker ink cartridges or an ink converter. Both the ink converter and ink cartridges come with this pen.

I have tested the ink converter with water and functions as you would expect. The factory boxes are in excellent condition with no damage. Parker made three colors in the Mosaic pattern, Red, Blue, and Black.

The Black Mosaic Duofold does not disappoint with the platinum-plated trim, 18K nib, and highly polished and lustrous acrylic. It is ready to write or add to your writing arsenal collection.
