This edition depicts the fascinating serpent symbol encircling the cap and barrel with smoth, undulating curves, while recalling rhe original Rouge et Noir fountain pen from 1906 in the coral coloured cap top. The Serpent Limited Edition 110 features the serpent motif not only on the cap and on the barrel, but also on the forepart leading into the handcrafted Au 750 solid gold nib. With its fine engraving and ruby eyes, the nib becomes the head of the serpent that winds its way along the entire lenght of the fountain pen. The resul is simply terrific: masterpiece. PVD-coated Titanium (TI) with Au 750 solid white gold serpent. Filigree serpent hand-engraved on cap and barrel. Clip with serpent's head, set with ruby eyes appox.

Cap top in red coral resin is crowned with MB emblem in mother-of-pearl. Au 750 solid white gold nib engraved with serpent's head, eyes set with two rubies approx.

Forepart engraved with serpent's body in continuation of the nib engravig. Limitation of 110 to celebrate 110 years of Montblanc. The Serpent 110 Limited Edition, created in 2016, is limited to only 110 pieces worldwide.
