The filling mechanism is unique - push the button to extract the piston knob, turn the piston knob like any other piston filler to fill the pen with ink, then push the button again to lock it in place. This fountain pen has a smooth, soft 14kt rose gold nib, which is flexible for ease of creating line width variation in your writing. Each pen also comes a Pineider Pen Filler for ease of filling.
