For your consideration I have this rare. Pelikan M800 fountain pen with in black with gold plated trims. The M800 old style in black was produced from 1988 to 1997. This is the very first version of the M800 and.

Was made in West-Germany in 1988 or 1989. It shows the old Pelikan logo with two chicks on the cap medallion and the nib. The pen is fitted with a rare. Solid gold nib in an Oblique Medium point. The M800 nibs were 14C gold for the first 3 years only from 1987 to 1990. The 14C nibs are much sought after as they more springy than the later 18C nibs. The cap ring is engraved'PELIKAN W. The pen is in excellent condition and shows just a small spot of wear on the section ring and a tiny spot of pitting on the clip. The piston is serviced and greased and runs very smooth, drawing the full amount of ink. Comes in a deluxe Pelikan box (not the original one). The photo's are an integral part of the description.
