Cracked Black Ice Pattern with Gold Trim. Made in England circa 1940s. 14k Gold CS Nib - SEMI FLEX. Lever Filled Fountain Pen: serviced and ready to write. Stunning pen, in a highly collectable cracked black ice pattern with a delightful semi flex nib, which flexes from a fine to a broad and writes very smoothly.

The pen will no doubt bring a great deal of pleasure for writer's and collector's alike. The fountain pen is in very good condition. The pen has been fully dismantled, ultrasonically cleaned and polished, fitted with a new inc sac and nib tuned.

There are no major imperfections to note, no chips cracks or engravings. The clip does show some tarnishing and there is a scratch just above the cap bands, some minor ink stains on the barrel threads.

But truly a clean example, with bold crisp barrel imprints - a very nice pen in very good condition. The 14k Gold Nib has been tuned and writes beautifully, this is a classic example of a vintage semi flex nib at its best. Line variation can be achieved - from a fine to a broad.
