This is one of two Montblanc Meisterstuck rare celluloid pens in the 130 series. It is much rarer than the bigger 139 model. This Montblanc L139Gpen was produced at the beginning of the 1940's and is offered in excellent working condition. It is fitted with a large size 8 or 10 two-tone 14C gold4810 flexible nib with long window is very clear, and includes a flat feed. The long ink view window is a particular feature of this pen, you can also see the workings of the telescopic piston. This pen is engraved which does not take away from its rarityand beauty.
To fill the pen, immerse the nib in a bottle of ink and turn the piston blind cap clockwise until fully closed, to empty, reverse this action. The cap, cap top and turning knob are made from black hard rubber and the barrel is celluloid. This is an amazing example of a Long Window. Mint Long Windows are VERY Hard to find. And this one is almost that.
The imprints on the blind-cap are perfect. And the rings on the cap are fixed and original. The pen is a fantastic example of one of the most collectable Vintage Montblancs. It fills via telescopic Piston Filler. The pen is fully restored by one of the most well-known and respected restorers Mr. Osman Sümer of Hamburg Germany.
